I’m a journalist, developer and interactive designer at The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Va. I’ve been the news developer at The Pilot since January 2014, working with reporters and editors on data projects and developing dynamic news applications. I also hold training classes for reporters and editors to help advance data literacy in the newsroom.

I also enjoy kayaking, traveling, camping, cooking and college basketball.
